		<description>Very thoughtful post. I am with a fellow student currently finishing an MA Thesis in rhetoric on Wikipedia. One part of that is trying to understand and problematize the concepts of credibility and trust, and our thinking goes much along the same lines.

We use a particular mix of rhetorical theories to create an argument that Wikipedia&#039;s potential credibility or rhetorical ethos is based on a conception of a universal author, and on a necessary trust. This trust, in turn, based on a particular rhetorical community surrounding Wikipedia.

We are writing it on a &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.kua.dk/mediawiki/index.php?title=Forside&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;Wiki&lt;/a&gt;, all in Danish, however, so I don&#039;t know how much you might get from it.
